Might be being negative, but there is no way we can continue to concede goals like this and go up. The "they score 2, we,ll score 3 attitude" is great and exciting but surely we wont always be so clinical in front of goal? Hope Im wrong but we have looked seriously fragile this week
What do ya think?

We lack leadership at the back. We have good players but the cohesion and organisation is not quite there.
It can be sorted and it needs to be before we hit the final stretch of this season.

There's no doubt about it.
There are going to be some really tight, tense affairs coming up in the last few weeks of the season and we're simply going to have to defend better than we did during the first half tonight.
There'll be no way back if we gift Ipswich, Bristol City or Palace a two-goal lead.

We've leaked some very poor goals this week, and looked very sloppy / complacent at times. To be fair to the back four, we've always "defended as a team" in the past, but in the last couple of games they're not getting the same protection from midfield.

I'm not convinced about Cort, for all the lauding he's received. We need a leader at the back.

As long as we're scoring more than we're conceding then who cares? enjoy it!

Reckon we need a Taggart style character to replace Cort for at least 1 match in two to steady the defence.
Not convinced with Cort either, he doesnt seem to get stuck in enough for me.

We are missing Eustace, plain and simple.
He was doing Salif's job and doing it well, I reckon Diao has been the problem with our defensive side in the last two games.
I don't go with the theory about "good business"....
why did we sell SJE?
If you have serious thoughts about promotion you have to have a squad with real depth.

This was going on while Eustace was here too.
If we had a leader, I'd drop Cort like a shot. Sod his goals, look what he costs us at the other end.

Griff needs to become more vocal if he is wearing the armband

agree, Griff could do better in shoring them up. Griff doesnt look like the same player that left us last time tbh. Although still looks good.
