In the majority of our home games now, most teams will come to shut up shop, in particular teams like Scunny tonight, scrapping for points for survival.
It could take us 70/80 minutes to break them down, so it's really important that the crowd stays behind the lads and doesn't get impatient if we haven't scored early.

one goal is enough whether it comes in the 1st or the last minute, of course it would be nice if we did the same as tuesday but without the wobble.

agree it might/will be a toughie but we do need to hit them hard from the start...............they'll be tuned in after our game on Tuesday and try to get to us...........so let's get to them first!!!
and if we score 3 MAKE SURE WE SCORE 4 OR 5!!!

agree gamesmaster, i think it will be a totally different type of game to Tuesday night.
We thought Southampton would come out and play at some stage given the names on the teamsheet, but dont think Scunthorpe will set up that way at all.
Its the Paterson and Horsfield combo thats worrying me....... ...... Not because its particularly effective, but one's an ex-Stoke player and the other always seems to bloody score against Stoke!
Lets hope we put them to bed with a couple of quick fire goals so we're not chewing our fingernails to the bone again ha ha!
