I've just found this snippet on Sporting Life.
"The agent involved in Didier Drogba's move to Chelsea, one of 17 deals highlighted by the Quest inquiry, was paid £700,000 by the London club"
How on earth can the involvement in the transfer of a footballer, regardless of the size of the fee, be worth £700,000?
This is a criminal figure and more fool for the club to pay it.

Didn't Kewell's agent get £2 million when he moved to Liverpool?
Makes the Drogba fee look minimal really (especially when the obvious gulf in talent is taken into consideration).

Did you hear that arsehole on SSN yesterday saying that if Terry was worth 30 million he would not be ashamed to ask 8 million to completed the transfer

20-25% is the going rate for agency fees in some industry sectors.
Some command more if they have the best skills available to them.
Some of you need to move with the times.
You don't pick a John Terry up at the job centre.

But agents kept Birmingham up two seasons in a row don't you know.
Even more reason to have them all put down in my opinion.
