wont be a lot more than tuesday, and if folks didnt have the free ticket there wouldn`t have been alot more than 15,500, so ill go for 20,006 and i dont understand why we need any of the away end , because on tuesday was at least 2,000 spare seats!!

Now is the time for all stokies to stand up and be counted TP & Coateshog have done what they said they would it's our turn now. Forget about all the parking problems where the stadium is etc it won't be problem when were in the promised land next season. Let's get behind the boys and fill the Brit on Friday night. Kid's for a Quid for rest of season maybe????

Mally, your post is slightly contradicting. If Coates and TP have done their part, why should they put on kids for a quid? Likewise if the fans are to stand and be counted, then they shouldn't need a cash incentive?

The attendance is going to be at least the same as tues night with the BOGOF offer, plus the fans that couldn`t make it on tues so i say at least 22,000

Post by MadridStokie on Feb 14, 2008 18:42:26 GMT
I reckon 22,356 with Scunny bringing 500 or so more fans that Soton did and more Stokies able to make this game than the Tuesday one.

Post by stennymuir on Feb 14, 2008 18:47:43 GMT
In theory it should be at least the same due to the fact the BOGOF offer tickets will be counted in the attendance,Same as season tickets are included in the attendance even if they do not attend.I could be wrong though, always thought the attendance was based on tickets sold.Anyone know?

season tickets are automatically added on to the ticket sales wether theyre there or not. Jesus it would take some time to count all them ticket stubs

I've always assumed that the attendance was the number of season tickets plus the number of matchday tickets sold plus the small number of cash turnstile clicks.
