save your money now, and get ready for games away at all the places you have always wanted to go to. enjoy the home games against all the top teams, and not just confined to an odd 3rd round cup game.
enjoy it however long or short our stay would be.

well if we get there this year ill think, we've done it ! were here! oh no what do we do now??? anybody else?? Know what you mean, I remember there was a similar atmosphere when we were promoted to this division in '02. The fact that we struggled seemed to indicate that we didn't really have a clue once we arrived. What gives me hope is something I heard PC say last week on Radio Stoke - "There is a plan" (should we get promoted). He didn;t elaborate, but it seems to indicate there has been some joined up thinking going on about the future of the club and I think that's what's under-pinning the optimism at the moment. Even if we last only one season in the Prem, careful stewardship of the money received should see us in that small group of clubs who should have a real tilt at getting back up.

Reaching the premier and spunking loads of money seems to be the wrong option, prehaps a 3 or 5 year plan where we become a 'yo-yo club' just taking the revenue for being there, getting relegated, then getting promoted again... the money received for such an occurance could see us stay among the big boys....
OR... jus get up there, & stay there for the forseeable future....

1) Add 3 top class players down the spine 2) Focus all of our efforts, resources and will on beating the other teams likely to be in the bottom 6. 3) Always aim to win games don't aim to draw 4) Make the Brit intimidating 5) Stay up and add another 3 top quality players each season

Problem is that clubs struggle to stay yo-yo clubs. Norwich have particularly struggled and look at Sheff utd this season. However I have faith we'll do better. Pulis is 10 times the manager of Worthington and Robson IMHO

I think we'd need more like six or seven top class players to give us a chance.

we should sign proven quality premiership players and pay the going rate, let's face it we should certainly be in a position to do so.
The secret I feel is that these players should be on a fixed one season contract only renewable upon retaining premiership status. In the event of relegation wages would be reduced by say 50% to reflect lower income in the Championship despite parachute payments.
There would be issues with existing players and the current wage structure which would have to be addressed but hey isn't that why we have a Manager, CE and bean counters?

One of two things...
Either we 'emigrate' to the land of the Premiership, sell off all the old things we don't need or want, get some new improved ones more suitable to our new environment and make sure we do everything we can to settle in quickly.
or
It'll be like going on holiday. In which case take loads of pictures so you can look at them when we get sent back again.

There is every chance we could do a Derby. I'd hope that the fans would remain understanding about it and recognise how hard it is to stay up these days, but a season is a long time to get drubbed week in week out for. My flatmate is a derby fan, he's finding it difficult to deal with the prolonged demoralisation. Seeing as we haven't kept a clean sheet in 11, we will be shipping goals like nobody's business unless there is a major improvement in defence.
Anyway let's not bother thinking about the money league yet.

it may well be a return to dog fights and relegation battles, but at least we'll be able to say Stoke were once in the Premiership ;D

I wouldn't care if we came back down after 1 season, for me the excitment i'm feeling right now and the anticipation of that pitch invasion when we win that game that seals the deal - BY FAR outweighs the disappointment I may feel if we did get relegated from the Premiership.
BY FAR!!!
