I think it was 5 seconds I was exaggerating. We are no longer hated just disliked!

We got mentioned after Hereford and he called our centre-back Richard Shawcross. Pretty poor stuff. Very rushed affair trying to avoid mentioning the slip-ups of Wolves and WBA.

They just don't think we're in the Midlands, I wish someone would see sense and put us in the North West where we really belong. Discuss...??

no then we would get even less coverage, Staffordshire is north midlands just a shame the Midlands BBC bums albion and wolves, Derby didn't get much attention last year and neither do Leicester. Ah well we shall show them.

Staffordshire is in the midlands and has been since year dot. I agree that we are North Midlands, like wolves, brum, brazil are West Midlands. Please don't associate us with the North West

Fair enough, North Midlands is what I tell people if they ask where we are, I guess it's just hard for outsiders to understand what a different place this is to yam yam land.

Ah well we shall show them. I know that Central News and maybe Midlands BBC have split reports for east and west which explains why you wouldn't hear much about Derby. Central News East is based in Nottingham, Central News West is based in Brum. If there was a Central News North it would be in Shelton ;D

Please don't associate us with the North West I've spent a lot of time working in Dudley and in Sheffield, and in my experience, Stokies have more in common with people in The North than we do with Brummies and Yam Yams.

i live in crewe which is granada and crewe hardly get a mention on the sports programmes in the same way that stoke dont on central so its just a case that living close to the boundary means we get ignored, no more no less

On tonights bbc midlands 6.30pm edition, they only actually showed the goals from one championship game - which was ours!! For the rest of the midlands clubs in the Championship they just briefly read out the results! However, i'm sure if West Brazil had won, our clips would not have been shown!

In fairness delz, I've found that bbc midlands generally give us more coverage than central, although they are still more biased towards the yam-yams

The reason why they HAD to show our goals was because, between all the other of our 11 fingered friends, they couldnt manage a single goal!!

Traditionally, we always were well covered by Granada. Just proves the point, we are northerners and have no connection with the likes of Wolves and Brum at all!!
