I've been racking my brains trying to remember Delilah yesterday! I know I had a couple of drinks but I can't for the life of me remember one being sung. I'm sure there must have been with three goals going in - so why can't I remember one?
Perhaps I was too engrossed in my copy of "TPs Match Tactics for Dummies" book! ;D

There was certainly a We'll Be With You.
There was a Delilah after one of the goals.

I heard a brief one over the radio too. Not a full one I'm afraid, it petered out ???

Cheers Joe! I was there and can remember nothing... you're 10000 miles away and I'm relying on you to tell me what I was up to!
If you know that much, how much does my missus know? Oh bugger! ???

That seems to happen often...tannoy announcements happening just a Delilah is sung. It's almost as if the club are embarrassed about us singing it!

'Delilah' never really got going yesterday, where I was sat (Block 19). We had one good 'un after the first goal (I think) but none of the others never really reached further than Block 21 or 22.
It's a shame really becasue in the second half it was a cracking atmosphere and a top class 'Delilah' would have been the icing on the cake ;D

I think one of the problems is that the game could have swung either way from kick off to the final whistle. We seem to do better Delilahs when we are either winning confortably or trying to raise the team to get back into a game. Nerves affects fans as well as players.
What was encouraging was the absolute wall of sound as the fans chanted "Come on Stoke" for the entire 3 minutes of added time at the end. That was the loudest noise I have heard at the Brit for a while and whilst it wasn't original, must have lifted the players as they strove to hang on to the point.
Well done to all Stokies - we may have saved 2 points with the volume of noise.

Inspirational stuff. This was almost as good an end to a match as the final game of last season. Almost....but not quite!

there was 3 delilah's. One after the first goal, one after the third and one then block 19 started one off when they had the goal disallowed but it faded away.
