Personally thought he was a bit sluggish again, with the odd moment of quality on the ball.
Anyway, I don't actually give a shit, because this thread is just an excuse for me to put up these links for Salif Diao videos which only I, and probably the person who made them, find funny.
Infact I laughed that much at them yesterday that I very nearly shit myself.

not that well to be honest. I thought at times the back 4 looked uneasy with him as if they didnt have a great deal of confidence in him.

Looked like a player who hasn't been training or playing for 4-5 months who has then played two games in 4 days. He still obviously has the class but I think he needs a rest on Friday.

I don't know what's so bad about his performances. Makes more of an impact than Eustace did, nearly scored (and his tackle actually killed the game dead) and while he's not all there he's not too bad at all.

Thought he was crap, really poor.
He should have been subbed at half time and Delap (who I thought was very good) moved into the middle.
Think Tone needs to change things around a bit on Friday.
Deffo start with Gally on left and Delap or Pugh in middle.
Actually thought we missed SJE in the middle tonight.

I thought he was very sluggish, slow to react to the ball and it was only the last 10 mins did i actually see him chasing the ball. That was also a sign of frustration last night to, we seemed once more to step back from the ball when defending as opposed to closing down. I'm all for keeping the shape whilst on the back foot...... but it seemed that Southampton were that half a yard quicker in the second half. Bloody Stoke can never make it easy for us

Well below what we know he's capable of. He certainly isn't match fit, and I think as posted above, he should have been subbed into the second half by Gally. He actually did play a few telling balls throughout the game, but towards the end, and overall, he was letting us down. Get fit, Salif, we're going to need you before the seaon ends.

Shit!!! Shouldve been taken off. Some good touches but pulled out of too many tackles in the centre. Whelan played well i thought.

He's clearly a quality player but needs a bit more time before he's 100%. One excellent through ball to Pugh when Delap should have scored in the second half.
