If you look at the BBC Sport home page we are not even in the football headlines yet Brazil, Brizzle and Watford are? I think that that is yet another indication of how we are being missed by the media in this country. Though to be fair it is being turned around slowly. Still tho....
Well done to the lads though for tonight. Bit dodgy 2nd half by the sounds but good result in the end n well battled.

i know its a pain that the media never acknowledge us. but to be honest im not really bothered, so long as we are still getting the results to help us push for promotion.
there will be plenty of time for the media frenzie when we go up

I prefer to go un noticed.. They can talk about anyone they want, aslong as we keep winning

Mate, if we won the European Cup the media wouldn't mention it. Won't be any headlines when we get promoted - but we will - fuck em all!

could just imagine it in the premiership - Stoke beat Reading 10-9 and its the highest scoring match etc etc and there was great football and a liverpool match is called off before kick off - there would be a comprehensive report on the liverpool match that never happened and we'd get a little snippet in the corner

Perhaps until recent times it's been better not to have the full media glare shone upon Stoke.
They will follow the story, when it is one that has legs.

Daily Mirror match report (Alan Nixon who always does the Stoke games) described Stoke as unloved & unnoticed - & thats spot on.

I noticed that on Radio 5 sport line up this morning too! No mention of us at all!
To be honest I was a bit concerned about the spotlight being on us in the last couple of weeks -positive comments from Royle, Collymore etc and I'd rather we feed on being unloved as a motivational factor rather than becoming complacent at being one of the favourites for promotion.
