.... really is a shite presenter - says something and then does not know how to move onto the next item. The "Yam yam yam" accent doesn't help either ;D Only good point is him and Harry Bassett fancy us to go up

I only saw this piece of televisual dog shit for the first time after we'd lost to Charlton...like every other ITV football show, you feel like killing yourself just so you don't have to sit through it. I can't remember if he was last week, but I bet Gary "I look like a creepy kiddyfiddler" Newbon is on it somewhere as well. Just seeing him on there all sweaty and speccy just makes me want to throw my guts up.
Anyway, Collymore is clearly not as suited to television presenting as he is to dogging and beating up weather girls. He's still marginally better than John Barnes though, just for that look of self-awareness on his face that says "ITV are paying me a load of money to do this, yet all I am is a washed-up sex pest."

Robbie Earle is the worst TV presenter I've ever seen. He puts. Full-stops, and, unneccessary, punctuation. Everywhere.

I'm with lordb and jpm - he's a refreshing voice on the radio -doesn't toe the party line but doesn't make stupid comments just to get noticed. His Sunday Mirror column is good too. However on telly as he reads his words he looks like he's on a rail track looking in the distance to see if a train is coming!

And I'm with all three of you He's not at ease on TV but he's one of the most intelligent and perceptive radio co-coms, I'd rather listen to him than Graham Taylor or David Pleat any day. Only Jimmy Armfield comes close.
