Suppose the "larger build" increases pie sales so he makes the money back that way as well

When they have a computerised ticket sale system and every purchase is registered upon sale back to the purchaser with proof and means of purchase and name -details etc
How does that work?

There was almost certainly more than 19k there tonight... Seddon and Boothen were all but sold out.
I've noticed a few times this season when I've been down the Brit that the attendance announced seems less than what looks there!

With a tiny away following, and virtually one block of the JS lower empty, I still thought we'd be looking at about 21k.
Never seen it as busy as that outside the ground either.

Here we go again! Come on guys get a life! ;D
4,200+ empty setas in away end and John Smith's Stand about half full. That's over 8,000 seats.
The club would have LOVED to announce a big crowd.

19 to 20k was my guess - I would urge conspiracy theorists to look ALL round the bloody ground including upper and lower tiers of the main stand AND the corner seating
attendance correct ! - no doubt at all
sorry conspiracy theorists
PS did you know they found a london double decker bus sat in a lunar crater of the far side of the moon during the Apollo missions ?

It is shocking with a buy one get one free we still got less than 20k!!!
Imagine what the crowd would have been without this offer.
No excuses Stokies, get your and your friends arses down the Brit on Friday

I was quite disappointed with the 19k but then again there appear to be some huge issues with ticketing. 90 minute phone calls, hour long queues outside the ground and no online ticket system - get the latter sorted chaps and I think you've had added a couple of thousand minimum to the gate.
Simple as, log in, pay the brass, print the é-ticket.........you can do it for airline travel, its a piece of piss

This "VAT dodge" has been going on at Stoke (and the Vale) for about twenty years. You'd think Customs and Excise would've cottoned on by now.

It doesn't help when people have expectations of a sell out when knobheads keep coming on here claiming all tickets have been sold when they quite clearly haven't. It happens nearly every game someone quoting that all tickets have been sold, or greater numbers than actually have been.

what a load of crap
@ least 1000 empty seats (& nearer 2000) in the Boothen/Seddon stand combined 4500+ in the away end JS (which holds 9000) was half full @ best.
that'l be 19481 then.
