After waiting for 1 hour and 30 minutes on the phone yesterday (they then stopped taking calls without terminating those of us in the queue), I thought I would wait on the phone this morning - and if that fails head to the ground this afternoon. After calling at 0855 this morning (to try to join the queue early but found I was in fact 15th already !) I have finally managed to buy them !
I suggested to the nice man that they have a system of clearing the calls in the queue when they close so that people do not hold on thinking they might get answered. They should use the same process when there is a fire alarm for example i.e. if the fire alarm goes off there should be a message that is played so that people can drop out of the queue. They would do the same when they close 'Sorry but the ticket office is now closed and your call will not be answered' etc.
So I will be there tonight with my son !!!
