There is an awful lot of season ticket holders who think they are some sort of higher life form than non season ticket holders. In truth, they are just twats. the ones in block 23 are arseholes, never sing.. moan if people stand up to sing and yet they are in the centre of the boothen and with them not singing and creating a sit down shut up culture it's really hard to get the boothen going.

Mr Stiggers, I can't stand the queue on matchdays or any other time (its painful), so I've started phoning the ticket office and getting my tickets that way. Sometimes you are put on hold; but I ordered my tickets for Southampton and Scunny on Friday morning and they arrived in the post on Saturday. Got to choose where me and the lad are sitting. No extra charge for postage, no booking fee, and saved on petrol and hassle! There's been huge queues on the phone lines aswell mate, apparantly it went as high as 55 people earlier! I dread to think how long you'd need to be on hold to get to the front of that queue! Hopefully tomorrow the club will be prepared for it and will get some extra call staff in because it was in meltdown today.

Re - season ticket prices should we go up. Should Coatesy reward those with ST this year with only a small increase on this season's prices, and those that are jumping on the bandwagon paying considerably more? I hope so.

Is only a couple although we did have a dozen or so moaners on here before and am sure we'll have the odd one tomorrow who had to sit in ear-shot of a pov on a freebie.
'Why do some ST holders seem to think they shouldn't have to queue like the common folk, and should be carried through the stadium in a silk-lined litter as a local peasant girl gently wafts them with an ostrich feather' ;D
Great avatar Bren
Great to see queues like that

I am a long standing season ticket holder, as are 2 other members of my family. The money to fund these every season is difficult to find but we buy them because 1) We are committed to the club 2) We attend because it is one of the few things we regularly do as a family group 3) We want to retain the seats because it is where we want to sit and we like the other people who sit around us. Not sure that any of those indicate that we think we are a superior race etc
I am totally in agreement with any initiative that fills the ground and I am all in favour of encouraging new fans to attend - just so long as they realise that we don't need their opinions ( formed as they are on about 10 minutes of live football ) on how "shit" a particular Stoke player is etc. Like the non attending clowns who phone praise and grumble with their view on the game just remember that opinions have to be earned.

When i was there about 4.30pm yesterday there was a bloke who was queing with his mate moaning about season ticket holders not being able to get free tickets for the scunthorpe match. He was saying that as he'd in theory paid for a ticket he should have been allowed one.

I was assuming he meant it was good weather with the ostrich feather bit, JR. Your description only applies during the winter months [like tonight] when you should have added a portable oil heater. OS.

Why does it bother some people that everyone is not a ST holder? Why does it bother them that non ST holders go down and queue for tixkets when we're doing well? Does it matter as long as they go when they can, or when they choose to go,? The club gets the money, the team gets the noisy support. WE all benifit including us ST holders as it is what we keep on asking for, slowly building up our support base. Welcome all of you, do what suits you, and enjoy it! I welcome you with open arms as long as you shout for Stoke!

I'm a season ticket holder and it's a great offer from the club! I just plead with everyone that goes to leave when the final whistle blows and not with 20 minutes left!

Come on guys we are all Stoke fans even if you only go when you can for whatever reason.
We all hate queueing but we should be more used to it than most with the parking and getting away afterwards problems. I would pay good money to have reserved parking that you could get away from the ground without hanging around.
