This article is taken from Southampton's newspaper the Daily Echo and it shows us that the Saints may well come and try to ruin the upbeat mood tomorrow because they need points just like we do. However we are at home and therefore we (the supporters) may just be the difference
It's all well and good turning up and I am pleased to hear that by the sounds of it there is going to be a decent crowd but we must back our lads vocally. Against Cardiff the noise was poor in my opinion so we must do better, we need to increase the noise levels and really get behind the Potters.

Let them come for the 3 points. We are much more effective when teams come at us and we can pick them off. Its much harder to break down a team that puts 2 banks of 4 in front of us and basically sits and says'break us down if you can'. Tomorrow will be tough as the saints are no mugs and they still have some good players. However, we have strengthened since we played them there early on and they have weakened. We are a different animal now and if we turn up and play like we have been, then we should claim another crucial 3 points.

I hope that Southampton come and give it a real go. We usually do better against sides like that, rather than the ones who sit back and play for a point.
Oops. Great minds, etc...

Be doing us a favour if they have come for three points, and come at us. We seem to have trouble breaking teams down when they come for a point, but gladly, even that is changing now, and we look great attacking.

They came last year looking for the win and played as open as any team seen at the Brit for years. And gave us a bit of a stuffing in the Boskamp year (did Ric score that day?)

That's not The Echo whose headquarters are in Bournemouth opposite a hotel I once stayed at is it? Or do some South Coast newspapers share a name?

Perhaps the Wednesday headline will say "Fuck-All Saints" when they return with no points ;D
