k3ttl3, What you've got to realise is after our league game at the Hawthorns we had never heard such pathetic whining from a set of supporters (and local media) in all our days. After your last post it would appear you weren't one of the Albion fans screaming like a girl after we apparently bullied your team and were to quote some of your fellow Baggies a "disgrace to football". You seem to be a lot more level headed about it but unfortunately many of your lot weren't and could only be described as hysterical, and that is the reason we have this view of the Albion. We know that you have good players and should go up, we know also though that we aren't anywhere near as bad as some Baggies say we are.

Just got back in from the local Spar where I had a bit of a ding-dong with the boss.
I took my morning paper back as it said that Stoke were above West Brom in the Championship, and I wanted a refund.
As we all now, this just conna be correct. Why, there were also two other teams ahead of ‘Super Kev and the Arsenal of the second tier” (copyright Matt Smith/The Championship) right there on page 56. How very dare they!
Luckily, the bloke at Spar also couldn’t believe it as he thought the Championship trophy had already been paraded along Copacabana beach (or some syringe-filled canal in Smethwick) by Tony Toothless and his precious ‘iccle players, and he had just seen Bob Hall on Central News.
The Bob Hall sighting swung it in my favour, as we all know Bob would be jumping off a very tall boarded-up Smethwick crack den, sorry, Rio building, if Stoke were above Brazil.
Keep smiling Baggie, you might just get us at Wembley! ;D

I mean I cant say I totally agree with some things I saw at that game but I think it was really something over nothing. We were very much like you a few years ago under Megson , long ball and its very effective and I think it will get you out of this division with a little help from the momentum your carrying right now. It p*sses me off how some few albion fans sang songs like were too good for you and stand up if your top of the league but wont most teams if they were in our position. I have a thing of Karma and have never once joined in with these chants but just put it this way , I think it could go right to the nail and I think we will get back on track we just look tired right now but lets see what happens eh

Don't think the FA Cup will help either- might end up with 2 or 3 games in hand and need to win them to keep up-
We both have to play Watford which will be interesting and Bristol C have to come to the Brit- personally think that's a good thing as seem pretty average away from home.

I think its wide open for anyone. Theres Albion, You guys, Bristol City,Watford and Charlton not to mention Palace that could do something. Each side has there strengths and It will be really interesting to see what happens. All season Ive said we would blow it and finish 3rd and il stand by that but I am a well known pessimist. This is our blip tho, like watford had one and when you get there the pressure cranks up. Take for example when we played against Scunny and City themsleves they were the alst times we played well and we only just made the top spot by then and then its all gone wrong from then. Its just wide open right now and its for anyones taking!

Look Im not really In here to start the whole "We are Brazil" and "You're just a bunch of f*cking cheaters". Ive said your there by merit and you're on far better form than us right now, I can tell you now I go to every home game and most away games and big majority of Albion fans are not what you think they are, but in football it is always the minority that get the publicity.

Fair play to you k3ttl3 and good luck to you. I have no problem with banter but the shame was that it seemed like nearly every Baggie who went near a PC or was interviewed by the Excuse after the said fixture was a bit of an embarrassment themsleves by claiming we were "nasty". Last time I checked it was a physical sport which I'm sure you'll agree with, you obviously go to games and have done for a while, unfortunatley some bandwaggon jumpers seemed to have climbed aboard the good ship WBA and don't seem to know their football history and can only come back with "we've been in the Prem and you haven't". Perhaps they need to realise that this particular division has existed for a lot longer than the 16 years or so that it has been called the "Premiership". For what it's worth I think the Albion will go up still and I'm just hoping we may sneek up with you.

Ive still got to have confidence but hey its Albion , thats one thing we can never moan about , theres always ups and downs to every season we have, a lot better than being a mid table team that goes nowhere! Its all about entertainment and I get that every season and you get your heart stopping moments but its what being a football fan is all about isnt it? Yeah i appreciate your comments because it was looking like a slanging match at first but im glad you see my side because I will admit i do no my football and credit where credits due Pulis has done a amazing job and finally he gets a bit of money to spend in the transfer window and you get too good center backs (especially shawcross who scored against us who I like) and Whelen who is a fantastic player but we have enough midfielders already because It was speculated about him coming to us I think. And about your physical side to the game? Well I aint the biggest footballer you will ever see but I will never back out of a challenge in defence and play like Paul Robbinson from albion, well quite similar so I think I would be a hypacrite to disagree with you ther mate

Well if you play like Robinson you've now convinced me that you weren't in the "Stoke are bullies" play group. ;D Speaking of him, at this stage of the season I think he is the sort of player you need and would perhaps have a couple more of in the team if possible? Albions' hopes of promotion will in my opinion rest on them getting back the form where you were knocking goals in for fun because I can't see many gritty 1-0 games being played out at the Hawthorns. As for us we've got to do what we do best, play at a high tempo and give the ball to Fuller! (We may score a few from set pieces as well ;D)

I remember last time West Brom went up they had a huge amount of 1-0 wins didn't they?
Was our speciality under Pulis before- times have changed there. Personally I don't care what folk say about our football- the more managers that moan etc the more we've rattled teams-
Certainly a season we weren't expecting to date

Yeah that goal against Wolves looked leathel. I wonder how he would do if he got his chance in the prem again because at Pompy it never quite took for him really but at this level he is a player to have in the locker! As for us yeah we do miss that battling quality however we have had it at times eg 3-3 comeback draw against Cardiff. Too many players are off form for us Kiely, Hoff, Robbo himself and we miss Koren because he is one of the most underated players in this division as he makes Greening look a far better player. I think you will do a 'Sunderland' like last season you know but I think if you went up you would have to invest heavily in a lot of departments. One player who has never let you down in my eyes is the keeper, Simonsen. He came from Everton and has been brillaint for you guys. I would have him in my team

Simmo is a good keeper and has been a very good signing for us. Excellent shot stopper but perhaps not as commanding as he should be. No complaints overall though. All the best I'm off to plot our final promotion push See you in the Prem ;D

Well I will come on here reguarlly not to stir and cause trouble but to just talk and to share views because the Stoke and Albion relationship has taken its strains this season and Id rather have a good discussion and see what its like and your opinions on things rather than pathetic bitch slaps and comments that you say to your little brother, from both sides really. I think I need to dwell on our fa cup push aswell Wembley again ... or maybe not. Cya Jamo

k3ttl3. well done on all posts on here mate. i work in stafford with loads of baggies and wolves fans and breakfast can get a bit heated!!! most of the baggies fans are in the "minority" that you have a god given right to be in the prem, but like us the top 6 teams are there for playing 32 games of football well.
renewed respect, even if it is just the 1 baggie who talks sense!!!
cheers matey!!!

rabbigan, Glad you found it amusing If your lot took your heads out of your pretentious arses you may be able to have a laugh about stuff like that but alas you have no sense of humour where your club is concerned. That is why most supporters in this division see you as cocky bastards who, just because you've had a couple of years in the Prem see yourselves as infinitely superior to the rest of us and try to belittle clubs in the SAME division that the ahem "mighty" Albion currently reside in. Luckily us thugs at Stoke know thats total bollocks. Jamo, Would appreciate knowing who my lot are. I am in my 57th year of supporting Stoke. Currently with my family hold season tickets John Smiths Lower Block 15 row 14, seats 120,121,122. Posted on old board for many years as Belper and attended meetings with Icelanders with Smudge and other fellow Oatcakers. I enjoyed your article ,genuinely, and believed I had conveyed my appreciation in an amusing manner. Obviously I failed.
