Lets see what the end of season brings. If we go up, he will stay. If we get to the play offs and lose, then will stay for another season. If we don't finish in the play offs, then he may just go.

Its been on teletext about Southampton, and to be quite honest, and no offence to you or any other stoke fans, its getting rather frustrating and annoying.

It depends on wages.
If saints offer him a better pay package he'll go end of!!
He will only stay if Stoke get promoted.
If we dont go up then whats to keep him here, its not as if southampton couldn't be challenging for honours next year.

Why should he leave? He's doing well for the moment, he has a good relationship with the chairman and is winning over supporters every day. Being at Stoke is as close as he gets to a "can not fail-deal".
Southampton is something completely different. They are very ambitious and feel that they are underperforming at the moment. And they do! Both the chairman and the supporters would demand a quick promotion, preferably yesterday. He got milliseconds to get it right, if not every man & his dog (including the chairman) will be on his back. Risky business, I would say.
I would be veeeery surprised if TP left, unless Southampton puts an incredibly amount of money on the table.

If its this southampton rumour its aload of bollax and he would be mad to go even ata the end of the season. They have no money for one and also they have had to let two of there best players out on loan cause of the wages. So surely pulis would have heard and thort hmm fuck that potter through and through.

Its odds on that he will stay. However there could be some truth in it, until Tone says otherwise, he COULD be the manager of southampton come summer.
He hasnt exactly come forward and dismissed these reports has he....

Keeping his options open, and who can blame him? I'm off to work shortly and will get there in 15 mins (on my bike!). There's a lot to be said for it. However, Southampton would be completely stupid to wait a third of a season to appoint a manager who might not be coming anyway. (They might get relegated because of it!). Nice bit of paper gossip, which has perhaps a 5% chance of happenning. If we don't make it into the Prem by this August who's to say TP wouldn't cut his losses and take one of the number of jobs he'll be offered, a bit nearer to home? What are Southampton fans saying? Would they welcome TP?

I can understand Southampton being interested. Pulis is doing well and his family is based down on the coast so there is quite possibly some truth in it. Just because they are interested though, it doesn’t mean Pulis is.
He’s building a good team, he’s finally getting the fans on side and most importantly he’s got the security of a chairman who has 100% confidence in him. I seriously can’t see Pulis moving, even if we fail to get promotion this year. That’s just my opinion though.
