I'd go with the same back four as last week. I really, really wouldn't be confident in Pugh up against Valencia.

Pugh has been safe as houses every time called upon, I would have no hesitation if he started at LB.

I'd rather put Kitson on the subs bench instead of Cresswell if he is available.

Just the standard then Knowles.
I'd prefer to see Wilko against Valencia than Ough, maybe he'll give Kelly a game and move ShawX back to centre back at the expense of Cort.

Pugh has been safe as houses every time called upon, I would have no hesitation if he started at LB. He was, until the West Ham game. He was absoloutely Shit and couldn't defend for his life.

Quote from Pulis on Why Delilah: Pulis will be pondering tomorrow’s starting 11 in the wake of his first-hand glimpse of Wigan during Wednesday evening’s 2-1 home defeat by champions-in-waiting Manchester United. And continuing with central defender Ryan Shawcross at right-back, following his switch there last weekend, is among the decisions confronting him ahead of tomorrow’s fixture. “I think most of them will be desperate to play in the last home,” he said. “We might even get Danny Higginbotham off his death bed. I'm assuming he's joking about Higginbotham.

Ooops, i'd forgotten that Camara was inelligable to face Wigan, replace him with fan favourite Richard Cresswell then

Shawcross had a dodgy opening 30 minutes or so at right back but looked far more comfortable after settling in. Having said that, I'd much prefer him in the centre alongside Abdy.

I've a feeling Olly could get a run out at least, but other than that I think he wants to finish the season especially at home on a winning note with a decent haul of at least 45 points so I can't see too many changes. 3-1 Stoke. Faye, Beattie x 2 (he's due a goal..or 2 )

Wigan manager Steve Bruce: "Their manager Tony Mowbray has done a remarkable job this season. They were a lot of people's relegation pick and Tony has set his team up to be strong and organised.
"Their home record has been fantastic and the Britannia is a very difficult place to go and get a result.
"They are a big threat especially from set-plays and we have to be at our best to deal with that."
Does SB know who he is playing ???

would love to see Simmo get the second half, nothing at stake (well 750k ;D ) It will be strange going to a game for the first time in 3 seasons with nothing dependant on it, but most enjoyable ;D
