kitson coming back to us then I still think Kitson will leave the club whether Reading gain promotion or not to be honest. I think there will be other sides that will look at him, we might just have to be prepared to take a loss.

Bugger, the lanky ginger whinger is on his way back then. Maybe Brum will follow up their interest, although, with his poor form carrying on in the Championship, maybe not. Looks like we'll have to flog him down Wass's market for a tenner.

It'll be great to have a wild card in the Prem, like Hull (and err us) this season!
Brum and Wolves, puh.

In Reading's hour of need, when they need inspiration, Coppell turned to two old boys - Kitson and Little on loan. Little is past his best and has been for nigh on 2 seasons and Kitson has well advertised personal/family problems.
Dreadful management, absolutely dreadful.

Two great goals, Burnley have done really well this year considering how small their squad is & how many games they have played.
Also whats with all the empty seats, only 19,000 at Reading and all the playoff teams stadiums don't seem full, even Sheffield Utd last night!

Last trouble I remember at Burnley was when a number of Stokie cars were vandalised when parked at the cricket club about 3 or 4 years back - but that might have been nowt to do with Burnley fans.
I do remember us getting kept back in the away end after the game by a stupid Police commander - and being refused the chance to go to the bogs under the stand whilst we waited That was the year the away section was moved because of some problems in the normal (wooden seated) away end.
But, overall, I wouldn't say Burnley was too bad an away day. It is nice and near for me so I hope they beat the Blades.

Though I suppose I have to be disappointed we don't now get to get ris of Kitson the easy way, I am really pleased for Burnley, they're a great club and it would be really good to have them in the Premier League.
I'm also pleased for Patto, if a little gutted we let him go so easily.

great stuff from burnley and congrats to them. two cracking goals, how pato was allowed to travel 30 yards without being challenged in a play-off semi final is beyond me but fair play to the lad, he hit the target.
