The final Stoke game before me and the family became exiles. Not a bad one to leave on

7 Years, I remember it like it was yesterday. If I wanted to prove how sad I was I would run you through my routine that day, but I won't.
What a day it was! Was it Deon Burton who bagged in that game? Ben Burgess popped up with a nice OG too, I remember.

I remember it very well. My son was born on 10th May and came home on the day of the match.

anybody remember the performance from a 19 year old Steven Sidwell for Brentford, on loan from Arsenal? Shame our youth system cant produce a couple of players like that!
Still Wilko is doing well and thats a good thing, just be nice to get another youth team product on the verge

The game was a massive anti-climax compared to the semi final IMO. I don't even think I was nervous once the 1st went in.

Ah, what a day!
I was staying in Criccieth (north Wales) that weekend with some mates.
Got up early and drove from Criccieth to Cardiff pretty much as the crow flies - 300 miles of superb A and B roads (and I gave it major beans all the way there and back)
Attended the match and then drove back again, in time for beers by the sea!!
So,
Best days driving of my life
plus
PROMOTION!!!!
plus
holiday celebration beers with my mates.!
A great, great day.
