... to carry on from Saturday's Oatcake: Paul Danson making Carl Muggleton go off the pitch wasn't the only inexplicable decision he made that day. He gave what I remember as a debatable free kick so WBA could score while Paul Stewart was in goal and then: I can't remember the sequence, but Danson also disallowed a goal by Stewart. Then, after the game, admitted that he shouldn't have done so Our two forwards that day were Stewart (who possibly had the best game he ever had for Stoke that day - and not only in goal ;D) and Marco Gabbiadini. And still they couldn't beat us!

One that always sticks in my mind from when I was young was the 1982 World Cup. The West Germans were playing Austria in the final group stage and a 1 - 0 victory to the Germans would see both teams qualify for the next round at the expense of Algeria. The Germans scored after 10 minutes and both the teams passed the ball around amongst themselves at walking pace for the rest of the match ensuring the 1 - 0 win.
More recent injustices, Chelsea 2 Stoke 1

One that every Stoke fan of my age and above will remember is the FA Cup tie at Burnley (late 70s early 80s?) Kevin bloody McNally wrote the book that Styles uses as his bible!
Sent Smiffy off for telling our manager he didn't want to be substituted sent another off (I forget who might have been Ray Evans?) for thanking the ref when he gave us a freekick.
Finally he gave Burnley a penalty when a player was tripped he rolled over about six times but still didn't make it in to the penalty area but he gave them a penalty in any case!!
Horrendous!
PSI don't think a single shop in Burnley had a single window left unsmashed such was the Stoke fans rage!
