I know this has been discussed on here, but the FAW have STILL not come up with any definitive decisions regarding the punishment to levy upon Cardiff City, which considering the FA have dealt with the Roger Johnson issue immediately smacks to me of once again the FAW hoping the matter will be forgotten and they will not have to act.
My question is this; is it right that clubs playing in English leagues are answerable to a different football association, and surely an appropriate punishment should have been doled out by now? My problem is that like Darren Purse's red card rescinding last season, the FAW will always air on the side of leniency for their clubs, whereas the FA i believe would have either handed Cardiff a points ban (possibly), a hefty fine (probably) or the order to play game(s) behind closed doors.
But surely by now somebody should have done something?

Totally agree Vestan mate. The refereee was going off his nut to the cameras and rightly so. There were one or two things flying between stoke and cardiff when we played them the first game of last season at their gruond so sadly a lepeord will never change its spots.
Birmingham in the 90's were the main culprits and nearly had to play a game behind closed doors due to their behaviour.
I say if they want to play in the English League they should answer to English FA as the FAW holds little to no clout at all.

I really do fear for some of the problems that will make most probably happen, if Cardiff make it into the top flight next season.
I feel that we will see a weekly coin throwing incident.

IF Cardiff do make it to the Premiership next season, how can they be made to answer any FA Problems to the FAW, when they will actually be Premier League?

When they played Stoke last season because they could not get to us stokies they were fighting amongst themselves outside their ground.
No doubt over which one was more welsh as they sometimes do in the valleys.

Some our dickheads throw things don't they?So its not just the welsh. So why fear what happens if they get into the top flight. One sees a little hint of Premier league snobbery here.

Exactly, therein lies the problem Worcesterpotter.
I think that in order to circumnavigate problems like this in future, any Welsh teams playing in England should be answerable to the English FA. No confusion, no "one rule for one" like there is at present, nothing. You want to play in England, you are governed by our association. Simple

The Welsh Teams in English Leagues problem....i know the league(s) have had to deal with this before, mainly Non League. Although, the chance that Cardiff City could have won the FA Cup last year, would have opened a whole kettle of fish. Its like the problem with the Welsh Cup, where by teams who won it would get into European qualification (unless you where an English team that won it!)

I stated this last season.
My local team (Kidderminster Harriers) won the Welsh Cup a couple of times and were not allowed entrance because they were not Welsh...funny how quickly they (Welsh FA) wanted to change the rules for Cardiff wasn't it?

I remember that was against Leeds in a semi final when someone threw a cue ball at a player. Idiot.
