not some slum in boslem but a large neutral stadium up north.
wembley should have been built in the midlands but was not to be, and to justify the cost it hosts the semi finals.
this is ok, when its arsenal v chelsea fine but for northern teams shit
get the rugby league involved to save thier northern sport being sent down south for their big games
a large stadium in say manchester could be used for play off finals if it was northern teams, rotate internationals, rugby league and other sporting events

The new national stadium should never have been rebuilt in London its an absolute disgrace that it is there imo.
A couple of dozen fat cats pushed for it to be there for no other reason than having a few jolly boys days out for themselves. They put their own booze fuelled freebie days ahead of what was best for the sport and best for football.
The only reason people wanted it at Wembley was greed and self interest I wish ManUre and Everton had got together and refused to play at Wembley! What coukld they have done about it?
And all them empty seats in the debenture bit makes it look tacky and second rate for such a big match

I completely agree, imagine how hard and expensive it was for Manu/Everton fans tonight, they could have at least played it on a saturday !!! ???
It could also be used as part of The Olympics or World Cup 2018.

A stadium near to the NEC would be a good idea.

Can we not just knock somewhere like Crewe down? Completely flatten the place, build a large neautral stadium that can be used for football and rugby, concerts etc.. it would make sense and finally Crewe would have a purpose in life

If they were going to build it in the capital (where it should be) they should have used the land around the O2 arena, or where the O2 now is. All that land was prepared for that other waste of fucking money, the Milennium Dome (what a piece of shit that was).
At least the land was ready though. They spunked the money on building it at Wembley to keep the brand name.
Now they'll hold anything there to get some money back.
They'll be playing the fourth round there in a few years.

If wembley was built in the north it'd more likely be called Dudley

the reason its down there is the money. there more well off people down there so they can recoup the cost quicker. it was never a footballing decision
