I am confused as to what has happened to these two, I know Diao is struggling with fitness but I'm not sure how serious it is? And Faye seems to have been completly discarded of late, is he injured? He was having a solid season up to about a month ago. And I thought, although we were still loud, the standard slipped a bit in the crowd yesterday, more quiet spells than I can remember this year!

Well considering the run we're on at the moment, I'm not surprised they aren't playing. This has to be our strongest team we're putting out at the moment, a little shallow squad-wise, but a strong first 11 never the less.

I don't expect them to be in the team, it is the fact that they are not figuring even on the bench. Remember how highly Tone rates Diao, and they have both been favoured above Pugh and Olofinjana for most of the season. Surely injury is the reason?

The lack of Diao and Faye coincides with the loss of Sidebe as we no longer just hit it up to him then soak up the pressure when the ball comes back to us. We're now playing some football and trying to play through the midfield more rather than bypassing it whilst attacking and using Diao and lil Faye under those circumstances would be damn near football suicidal.

I am not convinced Pulis would drop them both from the squad. I am sure he rates both above Olofinjana and probably Pugh. They would surely be on the bench.
