Not in a disrespectful way but having to force Tony to play BT and Fuller together has proved to be fruitful in terms of the number of points it has yielded,it would have been interesting to see if we would have gained so many points if Fuller/Bt were used only as subs/impact players?

Thought Fuller and Beattie were excellent yesterday.
So, is Fuller banned now or not?

much that i love him, ive always thought that when he played it forced us to bang it up all the time, and for quite a few matches this was effective ,but now hes out we are playing more footy and barring disaster this has kept us up!theway we ve adapted is really positive and the future looks good!

No. Fuller and BT were already the first-choice partnership before Sidibe's injury. If he was fit, Mama would have been the late sub yesterday (as he was against Boro), not Cresswell.

If you cast your mind back a week or two to our crucial win vs Boro, it was Mama that made that goal. He's an extremely useful asset, and (rightly) our third choice striker.

I agree, think it was a bit of a blessing. TP has too much of a soft spot for Mamma and i think he would have been more than tempted to start him. I'm afraid since Mamma got injured the team and club have progressed and moved on from him.

Spot on Mama is a key part of the squad, had you said the same about the likes of Diao earlier on in the season I'd have seen your point. MAMAMAMAMAMAMAMAMAMAMAMAMAMA MAMA SIDIBE SIDIBE MAMA SIDIBEE

No - Fuller and Beats would have been the 1st choice with the form they are in - however bringing the likes of Cresswell on results in 1-1 draws agaist shite like Castle, bring someone like mama on and he take the pressure of other player as he has the ability power and strength to actually keep on to the ball.

It's finally put paid to the belief that we only win with Mama playing, much as I love Mama that's a monkey off our backs.
I wasn't convinced BT and Ric were the best starting pair when Beats first signed, I'm happy to say I was wrong about that.

Yes, so much a blessing in disguise that it doesn't now make room for others due to opponents having to put two or three players on the brute of a man. Sidibe is the backbone of our squad and i cannot wait to see him back in my beloved colours.
