1. He loves us. He's sticking up for Stoke on TalkSPORT something rotten right now.
HE WOULD LOVE IT IF WE BEAT NEWCASTLE TOMORROW...his words... ;D
2. I saw him play for Notts Forest v Man Utd at Old Trafford 94/95 season (ok they were freebie corporate tickets from work) and he put in the most complete performance of any centre forward I have ever seen. He absolutely battered Bruce and Pallister, scored a goal, and helped Forest to win 2-1 and be the first team to win there for almost 2 seasons.
3. He gave that fake rape claiming, self obsessed, slagwhore Ulrikka Jonsson a slap.

Right from the start he's been prepared to stick up for us, not like most of the pundits who have just jumped on board since it's looked like we're going to stay up. You've got to love him for that.

Big, quick , two footed, shot like a cannon, if he'd had Shearer's mental strength he'd have been an England regular and a world star.
I always thought he was from Cannock, which would explain the accent.

I think he is from Cannock . Top man, gave the crowd man of the match against Man.City. ,the interviewer said "but seriously Stan , who do you really think was man of the match?"
