i know what he's going t get aswell FUCK ALL ;D except a load of stokie abuse and a shite coach trip back to delusional land ;d
You know what you are getting - can you handle it? Can you be big, can you be brave, can we be strong, can we play our football, can we come away with three points? That's the intention."
he sounds like tony fucking moanbury

It's like a Rowan Atkinson impersonation of a football manager. All it needs to finish it off is "...have we got a map?"

The difference between us and them is substance and fight. We rise under pressure and they back down to superior graft or superior skill. That's why we're six points and five places above them when their squad seems significantly stronger than ours.

good job he know`s aswell, stoke will rough the big headed bastards up & whether we beat them or not they`ll know they`ve been to stoke. they think stoke will be a big chance for an easy 3 points just like mowbray did last week. love it, i just love it!!

He said: "We are going there to try to get three points. It's imperative, it really is.
"Now, that might change depending on the game. We have got a late kick-off, so we will know other results around us, but we are going there with the intention of trying to get three points. We need three points, put it that way."
Errr, so do you want three points or not... ;D Because you are NOT going to get them.

I really don't see why anyone has a problem with Shearer. England Legend, one of the best strikers I have had the pleasure of seeing and likes Stoke as seen on many Match of the Day's and all he is doing is trying to keep his boyhood team up. Yes he isn't the most interesting bloke to listen to, but then again neither is Denis Smith, and I'd be gutted if I heard some of the same vitriol dished out to our Den if the roles were reversed. Let's just see what happens on Saturday.

Let's hope his team are of the same disposition then.
Is that the Mark Lawrenson who at the start of the season predicted we would be the only team of the promoted three that would stay up and the last couple of months confirming this? Granted his weekly predictions haven't been exactly favourable, but he never slates us like that cunter Lineker.

Let's just see what happens on Saturday. You're right, mate. He was a legend, a great player. And what he is saying is of course true. Lot's of teams DO know how we play, but most of them can't meet it. He sais nothing there that I wouldn't expect our own manager to say in the same circumstances. He's saying basically that it will be a hard game, and that they need the points, nothing else. H

no problem with Shearer but I wouldnt want him as our manager.
Newcastle are clearly worrying themselves stupid about Stoke & like several other sides this season are beaten before they get off the bus.

I think that the Torygraph was quoting from the same interview that was shown on SSN. My impression is that AS knows the size of the task facing him and his team tomorrow when taking on Stoke at the Brit tomorrow.
