From the next two games? Personally I'd be a little bit annoyed with only 2, but I'd certainly take 4, we'd then effectively only need a point until the end of the season. Also before the Boro game many were predicting 6, 7 or 8 points from these 4 "winnable" games.

We will slip up at some point, unfortunately.

6 points - unbelievably brilliant 4 points - Very happy with that 3 points - Not too bad - especially if they came from toon. 2 points - Could live with it I suppose but a disappointed. 1 point - Very disappointed 0 points - Doesn't bear thinking about!

Simple.

I'd certainly take 3!
Erm ... against Newcastle.
If we beat Newcastle and then lost to Blackburn, I still wouldn't have any doubts whatsoever that we were going to survive.

4 would be fantastic
6 would be completely f***ing brilliant
3 is reasonable, but actually 2 would be better if the 3 were against Blackburn, IMO, if we take points of Newcastle they are in soo deep they might not get out

I think, considering our home record, that 2 is thebare minimum we will get. Personally i think we will get 4 but i'd be happy with 3 and flabbergasted with 6.

I'd rather two than three if the three was against Blackburn. As long as we take something from Newcastle I will be happy ;D

2 points in the next two games I could live with that, I think Newcastle will give us a bigger test than Blackburn

4 points from the next two games will give us 39 in total with 5 games to play.
Plenty.
But let's go for the six!!!!

I'd definitely take 2 here and now....especially the one against Newcastle.
Not to lose against rivals below us and we would still have winnable home games left.

The six are available if we want them, but two wouldn't be the end of the world. I personally think one more win will se us right.

Main thing for Saturday is don't lose. A draw would not be a disaster. I'm hoping for 4 points from the two games which would be a great return. You only have to look at their bench to see what we are up against.

My predictor that got us relegated had 4 points from the next 2 games.
Still think it will be Hull rather than us to go down, although it will be closer than we think.
Doesn't stop any of us dreaming of a top half finish does it?

Two points would be just fine.
That doesn't mean we should play for two draws - far from it - but that would be no disaster.
We have Fulham as the next away game and if we can get 3 or 4 points from those three games (assuming we don;t lose to Newcastle) then we're home and dry I reckon.

I think its 4 a win against Newcastle then a draw Blackburn. Beating Newcastle is more important as it could push us 9 points clear of relegation.
We will struggle against Fulham but beat West Ham then that will be enough 42 points :-)

i would much rather beat newcastle and lose to blackburn (4points great, 6 unbelievable!) as they are the ones in all sorts of trouble if that happens.... a draw againts geordies is ok, bt we cannot lose!!!

Looking at the run in of the teams around us,- they can't all get maximum points over the next two games- two points should keep us where we are at the moment. With five more games after that, I have no doubt we will get the points we need.
