for me id go for liverpool away, 0-0 . just the team effort and spirit to grind out a result summed up the season as a whole for me.

villa away. the two extremes of our season, abysmal on one hand, but sheer spirit, fight and determination, against the odds to grab something.

man city at home was amazing but the belief the players must have had in themselves after villa away cud be even more important. villa are a good side but man city where just completely shite at the bear pit

Villa away. The game that had everything! If ever there was a game of two halves this was it. We were abysmal in the first half, forced to change our goalie at half time and we came good good once Fuller came on early in the second half. Unlucky to conceed a second (wonder) goal (against the run of play) in the second half and then we came back with the best few minutes of football we have played all season to hit the post and then score two to equalise deep into injury time.

This weekend will define our season more than any other match this season. The reports on the game could all start with the line "After so much effort, debate, hope and expectation, Stoke City now find themselves..."
and it could easily continue "...with a comfortable cushion between themselves and the relegation places"
or less optimistically...
"...back in the relegation scrap"

Villa away or Boro at the brit.both showed the teamand fans refusing to not get a result whether it be 1 point or 3.did the business when it was a must. Lets do the same this weekend!

Man City at home by a mile followed by Arsenal at home. The Arse game showed the world that we were here and are to be reckoned with and we could mix it with the so called 'big boys'.
I also think the draw at Villa and Bolton and Boro win turned our season round into a fighting chance of staying up.

Villa at home, Great going forward with the team showing loads of passion and determination but very susceptible to giving away soft goals.

Villa at home. The first time of many where 27,000 middle fingers were raised in unison at our detractors.

I'd say Villa at home although it really depends if we stay up . If we go down Man u at home would sum up the season with us failing to hold on at the last. but lets hope by saturday we'll be 9 points clear of the drop so i'll stick with villa

villa away. the two extremes of our season, abysmal on one hand, but sheer spirit, fight and determination, against the odds to grab something. Spot on, it shows our fighting spirit until the final whistle, and the croud were abviously awesome again!

I haven't been privileged to see all the games. I reckon the Villa home game comes a close second to the Man City game. The latter had everything: a truly passionate crowd; a fantastic backs-to-the-wall performance from the lads in red and white and a result.
My lad was at the Villa away game. He reckons that was the best.
All in all, as far as home performances are concerned, I can't recall a better season considering the odds against us. It's been a fantastic season and we deserve to retain our status. If we fail now, I will feel very sorry for everyone at the club. They don't deserve failure for the efforts they have put in.
OS.

Villa away featured everything that we've done , good and bad, in one game. Newcastle away was pretty similar!

Villa away for me! Think it showed how much the club has come on over the years as we went and attacked against all odds at a top 5 side and earned a much needed point. We never gave up and even when time was running out we kept pushing and eventually got what we deserved. That is similar to our season as we have kept pushing and eventually will get our reward of premiership safety !
