Just had a rather concerned Dan (RealBoothenEndBoy) on the phone saying that his mate had just rang him and that Beattie was taken off in an ambulance with a suspected broken leg. I told him it was a load of bullshit as nothing had been on here. Can anyone please put his mind at rest? You fucking attention-seeker ;D

I had a dead leg before christmas and I couldn't stand up on it for a day or two and it felt better by the time I had a game (several days later) so I played but one little nudge to my leg from another player and it was so painful again and I couldn't play for 2 weeks without it hurting when I ran, Pulis/Physio/Doctor might see it too much of a risk to play him on Saturday even if it is a masisve game, incase of him having to go off 5 minutes into the game and missing the blackburn and fulham games

So Beattie has injured himself, but not as bad as everyone thought!

Is that serious? ;D Because winning 3 or 4 nil is irrelevant while making sure we don't collapse as we've seen Villa & Newcastle do against us is compulsory. If we were behind or drawing then i'm with you but this Cresswell bashing is past a joke a now I see your point and it wasnt a dig at Cresswell. I was at the WBA game and obviuos signs of Fuller being nackered were showing at around 70 mins or so, I just thought maybe give him 20 mins to do something against a poor side to give a bit of confidence, leave BT on as he seems to play an attacking midfielder role late on in the game anyway. I feel a bit sorry for Camara aswell but he's just not had the right situation to get much game-time yet and everyone has been fit recently. Rest assured though if things go wrong in our next two home games i'm sure he'll get the nod before Cresswell. Did i just say i'm sure he will? Sorry, we're Stoke aren't we? I mean that's what we should do ;D

Mark is correct. There is no reason to have a go at GF though guys. I hoped it was an attention seeking thread but it clearly wasn't.
Thankfully the injury is not as bad as a break but, as suttonstokie99 will testify, the initial pain of a dead leg is terrible.

All's well that ends well then! Thank fook for that, it's certainly a worry and brings home how on a knife edge things still are despite our lofty position in the table. With BT and Ric up front I am 100% confident that we'll stay up, take one out and I would start to worry.
