Dead legs can keep people out for weeks - if it IS a dead leg, why was an ambulance involved?
I'm not jumping for joy just yet...

Jesus wept...phew! We should all volunteer to give it the kiss of life then. Right then...so who gave Beattie a dead leg?

Sounds like he will be OK for the weekend. A few of them had little niggles apparantly and were checked up. Not sure who the others are.

Surely, if one of our players suffered a break they wouldn't be carted off to general A&E. Don't we have BUPA...

Knowles, where's that from mate? Still onna overly happy with this. If this mate of Dan's has been right about an injury, then surely the ambulance must be true too...

Sounds like the usual Chinese whispers. . . Beattie probably took a knock and got a bit of a dead leg and they called the physio to take a look and for precaution he said he could do with a scan. The after numerous phone calls ends up being . . Beattie broke his leg and was rushed off in an ambulance!

Is the ambulance thing bullshit then? Checking out a few niggles is one thing, calling an ambulance is another....

Post by FullerMagic on Apr 7, 2009 13:44:45 GMT
So the ambulance part of the story wasn't true then?
Are we banking on a bit of Chinese whispers?
Surely there wasn't a mass ferrying of the walking wounded to the North Staffs to check out a few niggles?

A dead leg can be a bastard to get over, let's hope all the drama was precautionary.
Please, NO MORE training ground rumours. Go and get a fucking job... ;D

Beattie fell over in training and banged his knee... Cressie ran up to him and jumped on his leg... Beattie's leg broke... They took him up to A&E to sit in a line behind a boy with a saucepan stuck on his head... Purple Monkey Dishwasher
