Not the worst referee, but he certainly missed some key decisions on boxing day.

He sent Wilko off against Man Utd rightly so but totally ignored Ronaldo and the Rooney elbow on Abdy Faye.

Big Boys Best Friend, Shearer's cock as far up his arse as Fergies was on Boxing Day. I fear the worst. ???

Terrible ref, if Boxing Day is anything to go by he will swoon over Shearer and give them everything.

Not entirely happy with that, he does tend to favour the big boys, and might succumb to pressure under the Shearer factor.

I thought Johnson should have walked prior to his eventual (& in the event unjustified) second booking
persistant fouling - straight out of the Laurus big book of defending.

He MUST be given absolute hell from us on Saturday. We need to send out a clear message that the real football supporters of this country will not tolerate corrupt referees and blatant cheating. We've had enough of referees that live in Alex Ferguson's back pocket and a few chants about corruption would do no harm.

Foy, the man who is angering other Prem refs with his awful performances. Refs assessors don't rate him and yet the Prem League haven't got the guts to cut him adrift.
Not sending off Rooney and Ronaldo was all about reffing the League Cup Final.
Dowd was overwhelmed with support from his fellow refs (and the assessor) for sending off Rooney and Scholes.

With regards to the johnson sending off, he was lucky to still be on the pitch.
He did catch Marney, although it was Marney who seemed to be the one doing the kicking GLen followed through and caught him!

he's not as bad as we're all saying, the decisions he did make on boxing day were absolute bollocks but it was 'MANCHESTER UNITED/ALEX FERGIE FC'

Just remembered that Diao was very lucky not to be sent off against Sunderland when he reffed us earlier in the season so maybe he isnt that bad.

I remember the Sunderland game when he looked over at the Family stand where the Stokies were giving him a mouthful. He'd just given a completely crap decision and was standing chatting and smiling with the Sunderland players. He looked over towards the stand and the look on his face said it all, he absolutely SHITE himself He knows just what the Bear Pit is about.
