When singing “Oh When the Reds...”
I know some may think this is a copy of Spurs but “Oh when the reds..” sounds mint when its slowed down and doesn’t go straight into the clapping. I feel this could be a brilliant when belted out from all sides of the ground and could go on for ages.
The version of it was ok against Boro’ but again when it got good folk started clapping. I am up for an amnesty on clapping and see how it goes. Clearly we are not coming up with many new songs, so re-jigging the old ones is always a good option...

Great idea. ok for Newcastle though.

We also need to make the Abdoulaye song longer:
Abdoulaye my Lord, Abdoulaye, Abdoulaye my Lord, Abdoulaye, Abdoulaye my Lord, Abdoulaye, Oh Lord Abdoulaye...
It would be much better and louder this way.

Couldn't agree more Mr Sitton.
I remember when Spurs rocked it in the league cup final last year for about 15 minutes. I think the word is rousing...
Too many eager beavers in our crowd unfortunately. When you slow it down and don't clap it makes the hair stand on the back of my neck... and perhaps the players too?!
Come on Potters, NO Clapping (Well not on the second verse at the very least)

The other thing that was really good was at the WBA game when everyone sang delilah at the SAME speed, the whole ground was silent. It is so much better slower, so sing it how its supposed to be sung!

There is no doubt that 'oh when the reds' sounds better when sung slower, although I think it sounds good fast as well. the song has a lot of momentum, it makes you want to sing it faster as the song progresses. You have to restrain yourself from singing it faster. which is why its taken us so long to get the tempo down.
Personally I would love to hear it sang really slow for 2 or 3 rounds and getting slightly faster for after each round after that. By the tenth time round people can just go mental and clap as much as they want.

The problem with Delilah is at home.
Everyone in the Block 19 area is finishes a good 3 seconds before anyone else. It is garbage. They are singing it way too fast.
I also recall them starting around 5 Delilahs in the game against Derby. Nice one lads...

People need to make their own songs up rather than singing Liverpool's signature song.
It's bad enough we nicked the ring of fire... What's next - walk alone?

Clapping just makes it come to a end after about 2 minutes, i dont bother singing it for that reason.

Agree with you Zay, we could be related!
Ricardo has got a song, dont need another, and not a Scouze rip off at that!
Get "Oh when the reds" right and it would take the roof off. NO CLAPPING!
Also, on another note, I dont think we have got a decent song for Pulis. It annoys me slightly that we still dont give him the vocal plaudits he deserves (and coates). I can remeber when Lou was at the helm and we had a plethora of tunes for him, and love him as I do, he has not achieved anything like our Tone.
When we were on the pitch at the end of the Season there was not one song for Tone, shit if you ask me! This year we should revere him like he deserves!!

Agreed, me and my brother always try and sing it slow but people start clapping and the sheep join in with them.

Is there a humane way of killing the block 19er's? Or not humane whatever....
