Should we not greet the Geordie faithful with such fond renditions of melodic tunes like this:
"One Kevin Keegan...There's only Kevin Keegan....one Kevin Keegan...There's only one Kevin KEEGAN.."
"Where's your Messiah gone?....Where's your Messiah gone...
"Where's your Messiah gone.....FAR FAR FAR AWAY.....!
"Going Down ...Going Down...Going Down"
"One Fat Ashley...There's only one fat Ashley...."
"Your're just a town full of Vikings...Your're just a town full of Vikings..."
"Sing when you losing...you only sing when your're losing..."

.......... but not before making sure we don't gift them three points. I was a bit nervous at the week-end, when we counted our chickens a bit early, considering Stamford Bridge.
And let's have some good humoured chants, too. After all, the Geordies are one of the few groups of supporters to have suffered (almost) as much as us Stokies have.

We don't want to look silly on live TV. Allbeit Setanta.

Indeed, and it will be the largest stadium ever to have graced the championship too.Just imagine what sort of atmosphere will be generated against the likes of Barnsley... Ashley won't be able to give the club away soon.

Speaking of messiah's, i think its hilarious when the masses take a shoe off and wave it in the air. They were doing this on saturday, I think its taken from monty pythons 'life of brian'...
Perhaps we could respond with 'always look on the bright side of life' when we all but condemn them to relegation come saturday night!!! ;D

Alan Shearer Alan shearer what a difference you have made what a difference you have made

I think they made a mistake in appointing Shearer pre-Chelsea. All the returning hero spirit will have been worn off in that defeat before the games that really matter to them. Not that I'm complaining.

I re-watched our FA cup tie against Newcastle from last season the other day, and in the pre match punditry they mention that newcastle were 11th in the league, just goes to show you have to be careful what you wish for, they would kill for being 11th right now. It's weird seeing Faye play against us

What about modifying that old Brum song......
There's a circus in the town, in the town! Alan Shearer's just a clown, just a clown! Mike Ashley can't sell your club, Looks like you are going down!
Might have to make the 'town' toon and risk it not rhyming, but who cares!
