. I think only a few weeks ago on MOTD he pretty much said that every team was going to stay up and "be alright" and Linekar was saying you cant have every1 to survive..
against Boro he put us down in his predictions to lose, on football focus he then proceeded to tell us it was going to be a draw and the on MOTD he said he wasnt suprized at all to see stoke take all 3 points at home

none of us are ever going to agree with every pundit about everything however what pundits should do is 1: inform - i.e. tell us stuff we dont know & 2:entertain - i.e. give a fucking opinion thats worth hearing

There's five of these 'Lawrenson knows nothing about football' threads a week. It seems some are never tired of laying into the man for expressing an opinion, or God forbid, making a factual error.
You can agree or disagree with his opinions, but its quite clear that he has vast footballing experience and does not 'know nothing' about football. On a lighter note, I hope Lawro predicts us to lose every game from now until the end of the season as it seems to have stood us in good stead so far ;D

I don 't think you can appeal against a yellow card as such, but you can appeal against the red... I think? Or is it that the referee can choose to rescind it? If you recall, we had Brynjar Gunnarsson sent off against Nuneaton in the FA Cup when he got a second yellow card for supposedly encroaching at a free-kick. However, that red was rescinded after everyone saw the evidence on Match of the Day. |

For Villa's 2nd goal, he just stood there glaring at the ref simply because a Villa player had dared to stick a foot in and nick the ball away. I reckon secretly Fergie will be glad when the petulant tosser fecks off to Madrid. |
