Personally as long as we stay up I dunna give a frig where we finish. We're all getting a little bit carried away at the moment, but truth be told, 17th will still be the most fantastic season in my life time. Any further up the league is an absolute bonus of epic proportions....

I'm guilty of being a tad too optamistic by thinking we could finish top half, but as I said back in August, I'd be more than happy finishing 17th by a goals difference.

I'd still gladly take 17th to be honest. There's no reason why we can't finish quite a bit higher than that now, but as long as we stay up I'm not bothered.

I'll be happy if we finish 17th. But, like TP and Coates, I'll be even happier if we could finish closer to mid table. With prize money of £720,000 per place, a mid table finish could be worth an extra few £millions and we should maximise our income as much as possible.
And of course, the higher we finish the easier it will be to sign TP's 'A' list players in the summer.

If we`re all honest, each and every one of us would have taken 17th at the start of the season. I think we deserve to finish higher, because of the way our club, but most importantly fans, have shaken this league up. Roll on next season.Onwards and upwards.

The higher we are the better quality we can attract. I would be pleased with 17th,but I think we can do better

What is the financial benefits of a higher league position? (eg, for every higher position = extra £200,000?)

As I have posted above, worcesterpotter, every position is worth an extra £720,000

Whatever position we finish my wish is that our last match of the season pans out as Desperate for Three Points Arsenal versus Safe Couldn't give a Flying Fook Stoke...
.... and that we sneak it one none, just to really pissemoff!!

it's a massive difference, 17th is obviously the target, but 13th is nearly £3m better off!

Tubes, I agree with Lakeland, though would be happy with 17th, and that extra £3M at £725,061, per league placing, would more than half pay for the new training ground, (or towards a filled-in corner?) leaving more cash for transfers.

i think were now in a position to seriously have a go at 12th, if we can get back to back home wins we will have a great chance, the money we will get will be superb plus it will attract some great quality players next season.
