Whilst it's admirable of their chairman to stick by him, Southgate should have been gone 4 to 6 weeks ago. Whether a 4-1 reverse is enough to justify sacking him now ... I'm not sure?
They are almost gone, so would a caretaker manager make any sense? ... I guess it depends whether they want to keep Southgate next season

Who could possibly come in a do a job for them now?
Curbishley? Wouldn't want the job.
I don't think anyone in their right mind would want the job which means definite relegation.
Bryan Robson anybody?
