The BBC are making a big deal of the fact that we haven't won a top flight match at the Hawthorns in 28 years. And when was the last time we played a top flight match at the Hawthorns? 25 years ago!
I know it's petty but it's pissing me off that they're focusing on this rather than our fantastic record against them in recent years.

I actually find it quite amusing!

Yeah, fuck 'em!
"...and Stoke record a first top-flight win at the Hawthornes for 28 years to move 6 points ahead of Newcastle..."
That'll do for me.

Yeah, it's about time that record was changed.
Plus no win away in the top flight in 25 years.
Plus no away win all season.
Plus no win away ever in the Premier League.
A very poor record that needs sorting with immediate effect.

The BBC don't give a shit what happens outside of the top league though That will probably change soon though, didn't they buy the rights to the football league coverage?

I noticed the stat too and thought it was pointless considering our lengthy absence from top flight football. How many times during this period have WBA failed to beat us?
The BBC do this all the time.
