I was going to title this post 'what is the point of England's Football team' but, after the implied stick on another thread I started (similarly titled only about port vale,) I decided not too
I mean, for pity's sake - another weekend of league action is suspended whilst our bunch of overpaid and petulant scouse losers yet again foray into the world of playing international nobodies (its on Setanta too !) golly ! wont see that then.
Lets not forget now, these WONT WIN anything of consequence -
EVER, that is already known at the outset so, why fucking bother ?
AND MORE IMPORTANTLY - it disturbs our league season at a crucial point just, to pander to the demands of the eternally useless FA and their flagship bunch of losers, whingers and petulant wasters
its a load of bollocks in my opinion
because
I'd rather watch stoke city !
PS I believe there's a grand prix - just hope Button wins ! (a flicker of brief interest there -admittedly)

Do you cut and paste this stuff Tone, or do you actually go to the trouble of posting the same old laborious shite every single time England play/FA Cup is on?

yeah - I enjoy it though
just to remind people they are indeed actually shite !
and South Africa will be yet another 'quarter final, went down fighting but never mind' outing
(thats assuming they actually DO qualify by the way)
And, there's a grand prix on !
And after we've been knocked out again, the Englands shirts are always £6 in the bargain bin at our local sports outlet too - (always the best time to buy one y'know)
PS there's new and interesting stuff on every single one of my posts - to be fair (winks)

Imagine if the likes of Wenger got his way. You'd add 3 or 4 more blank Saturday's to the Calendar for a 'winter break' on top.
It's fucking ludicrous.

I don't mind breaks for international games, but this is one of the most annoying things about being in the premiership, there's to many weekends where there is no game, or does it just seem like there is ? i dunno, either way, I hate these breaks

I'll be going to the qualifier on Wednesday, so I suppose it kind of makes up for no league action this weekend. When I get home in the early hours of Thursday morning I'll be able to think that it's only 2 days left till Stoke play Brazil. :-)

Ukyestony, I don't think you even like football. You never say anything positive about it. Not just England I mean any football.

Ive got to say this, and Ive much respect for you Joe
Thats a pretty dumb response
plainly - you dont read my stuff
just because your away from home, you have that fondness still for the England national football team and, cannot understand why people might have such views as I, about our national squad.
I love england as much as anybody and, I love football as much as anybody else, but, what matters even more is my beloved Stoke city and Anything that gets in the way of this will receive ABUSE.
ESPECIALLY AS, the present England set up, for some years now has comprised, greedy, overpaid, petulant, nasty and overrated mercenaries who have always flattered to deceive when it really matters.
ALWAYS!
To put it bluntly, they've let us down far too often - my views reflect this and if, another new crop of players who can behave like sportsmen, aren't greedy bastards and are willing to play for a virtually unpaid Englishman for virtually nothing other than the honour of representing our country, then - and only then, might they actually be worth a damn in my books.
As for me not liking football - just a pretty dumb statment joe - and, your worthy of far better

I'm with you on this one ukyestony, England games are pointless imho i couldn't care less the players are not interested, regardless of the cliches they trot out at press conferences to keep their marketing team happy, and the games are not for the general public (being on Setanta)

The fact that you cant even watch them on terrestrial TV, even for a friendly, says a lot to me
i.e. its not about the sport, its not about the supporters, - its ALL about the money (to the FA anyways)
and, reinforces my opinions
and so, they can all get stuffed !
