People that believe that teams who play nice football have a devine right to win games when the rules are clearly stated and are the same for everyone. People are very quick to forget the roots of football and I don't understand why now there is 'a way football should be played', you play football to win within the rules.
Diving not getting the press it deserves.
I miss the Championship fans, home and away.

The media inspired circus frenzy that is the transfer deadline day. The prem is so money driven that even the freakin' substitution board is sponsored

Supporters of small/medium sized Prem outfits believing there own hype having had a few seasons stability in the Prem and looking down on teams just promoted such as ourselves e.g. Bolton 1st game of the season. Lazy Journalism refusing to look beyond the pre-premier years!

Sadly, it is posters on this board criticising the manager/team every time we lose. After nearly a quarter of a century I love being back in the top division, I am delighted that we have 32 points and that we are not in the bottom three. I wouldn't have been surprised if we had been adrift on twenty points by now.
The club, manager and players have made me very, very proud this season. I really think they have earned our 100% support and faith this season. Some of the vitriol people have posted on here this season has been shameful.

The real things that have annoyed me this season has been the way some members of the media have attempted to destroy the good name of this club for other reasons than how we play. I have no problems with anyone thinking we’re not their cup of tea as a football side, it’s their opinion and as long as they express it with a little courtesy then no worries. it only gives us more incentive to prove them wrong which is fine with me. I don’t care whether they think we’re not good enough but when it becomes a personal crusade to blacken the club, supporters and players just for the amusement of others then I have a problem.
We have been a breath of fresh air to the murky waters of the Premiership and just because we refuse to roll over and play dead some it seems don’t like it
Wenger’s one eyed view of the game at the Brit, didn’t have the balls to speak out until the press were torching the seat of his pants about their poor form. Then suddenly our hard earned and totally deserved win had become a story of the poor little rich kid being bullied out of his pocket money by the school thug. He simply overlooked the fact only one player was dismissed for violent conduct and he wasn’t a Stoke player. If we had lost 3-0 he would have said, yes Stoke are a good side, they play to their strengths and football is all about adapting to your abilities, we won so we are thugs, amazing logic these big name managers.

premiership snobbery from the other clubs
all adequately covered in ths thread but probably with hindsight does not annoy me because that premiership snobbery is resulting in bad descisions by two established prem clubs who will go down (2 from boro, blackburn and newcastle)

Homzy, where to start???
1) Talkshite - Adrian Durham, Ian Wright, Ray Houghton, Mick Quinn 2) The farcial fight for every away ticket due to me not having a season ticket. Still managed 8 though! 3) The cost. An average game costs me about 100 quid all in all 4) The Policing and Stewarding in The South Stand. I've been threatened with removal twice this season for hand gestures 5) Referees 'not seeing' Big name players kick out, elbow etc.... 6) The arrogance of established teams fans. At Villa - "1-0 we don't need to sing" Wankers 7) Policing by GMP 8) The lack of beer at most away games 9) PaddyPower's pathetic publicity stunt 10) These weeks without a game 11) Us not being shown away from home on the Telly all season
Saying that though mate, the pros far outway any of these cons, and I've loved every single minute of this glorious campaign. Long may it continue!

Wandering up to the ticket office the week of the game and buying an away ticket.
This year has been crazy. It's great that we sell out, but it annoys me queuing for ages!

Cheating and diving in the premier league and, how its generally accepted by many of the officials
hopeless linesman who contribute nothing to the game at all
Part timer stoke city fans who, arrive late, leave early before half time - arrive after second half kick off then leave 15 minutes from the end and block the exits whilst they stand there watching the fucking game (whilst blocking the views of seated fans)
and uselsss stewards who do fuck all about the above !
