Fulham boss Roy Hodgson, after his team snatched a goalless draw in December, compared going to Stoke as being as hard as going to Villa Park or Anfield because Stoke's fans are "so one-eyed."
Really sorry but what does 'so one-eyed' mean?

A nice change to see a thoughtful article about Stoke & Pulis in the press. The way Pulis deals with the media is also very much to his credit, and a healthy contrast to, for example, Wenger's whinging or Ferguson's blinkered rants.

i think that is a superb article. what are the inaccuracies? The budget? We've spent more than Hull and West Brom and many other competitors.

Excellent read. Seems to speak a lot of sense. We are now getting the recognition we deserve.

Such eloquence and from the Mirror.....might just email the Guardian with that link for them to learn what reasoned considered journalism is about.

I really like the "rattling cages" analogy because to me that's exactly what we've done. We've come into the Premier league and shaken things up - and in a positive way added a new dimension to things. One thing you can't call us is boring, and when we stay up and look back at the way we've rolled our sleeves up and got stuck in (ruffling a few poncey feathers along the way), we can all be very proud!
