It's the bloke that was on Setanta this week with Stan Collymore, they were both sticking up for Stoke.

"Pulis, a triffic manager throughout the lower leagues, has taken them into the top flight on a tiny budget.
He'll like that, our Tony!! ;D

it`s nice to get a bit of recognition for what tone is trying to acheive, the job hasn`t been finished but we`re getting there, however, i think the shit stoke take most of the time is good for us as it galvanizes us & gives us a masses of fire in our bellies.

Not necessarily an inaccuracy, but I wouldn't say Delap's throw is our main weapon any more.

That Mirror article is exactly how I'd want all outsiders to view us this season. Somebody send it to Durham, Quinn and Jeremy!

Will you be mentioning Mr Michael Quinn in the Newcastle issue, Smudge? There may be one or two "fat crazed lunatic" or "drunk driver" mentions???

Homzy - Rory's throws have played less of a part than many journos claim and they have been less effective in the second half of the season - in part due to Rory's injury? But it is true that the 9 or 10 goals resulting (directly or indirectly) from Rory's throws almost certainly out number the goals scored specifically from corners, free kicks, crosses from the wing etc. So, as a weapon it probably has been more effective than any other single stratagem.
At the end of the day, do we care? Do we feck! ;D
