I know this is being way too optimistic - and I'm still taking one game at a time, not getting complacent, etc, etc but...
the £ 60 million was based on getting relegated and having 2 years' of parachute payments. You get more money depending on how high you fnish in the table so even teams who are safe still have something to play for and so the higher we can finish, the more money we have and so can afford better players.
Does anyway have the table of payments?

I don't have the table but roughly speaking the Sky money is about £29 million per year and the payments for each place in the table are: £720,000 for bottom spot and £720,000 for each place above bottom.
The £29 million includes a payment for the first ten TV games we feature in (and we get it even if we feature in less than ten games). If we featured in more than ten TV games (which we won't) then we'd get ann additional payment for each game but I am not sure how much.
So, finish 6 places above bottom and we'd get £29 million plus £5.8 million in place payements = £34.8 million
Our total income for the season including sponsorships, ticket sales and merchandising (but not including player sales) will be between £40 million and £50 million at a guess. We'll find out in the autumn when the accounts are published. Last year's total income was just under £12 million!!!!

How are television revenues distributed to Premier League clubs? 50 per cent of total money goes on an equal share basis to the 20 Premier League clubs, while relegated clubs also receive some of this money in the form of a parachute payment. 25 per cent of the money is paid as facility fees, which are determined by the number of appearances on television. 25 per cent is paid in merit payments, determined by the position that a club finished in the league. soccerlens.com/20072008-premier-league-tv-revenue/7415/

The premiership teams must get payments for live matches in other cuntries. Here in Thailand every premiership match is on live for 40 quid a month, which includes movies etc etc.True sports must have to pay for the tv rights to the premiership, who in turn pay a proportion to the clubs.
SOI COWBOY. Can you comment on this please as you are out of jail now PMSL.

Hanibal - the £29 million payment we get inludes UK TV rights and foreign TV rights. Not sure quite what the split is but £8 million or £9 million is probably the foreign rights.
