Know it's not Stoke but as there's fook all happening at the brit so far can we talk about something else ...
Looks like ol' HR(H) is going to sell Jam Sarni to Sven & he must only be going to do that if he's got ano lined up - rumoured to be Defoe.
But why?
Anyone else who wouldn't "swap" Deffo for Jam Sarni or just me?
Especially after HR(H) has allowed him all that time to acclimatise to the Prem (when he couldn't buy a goal in his first season & now looks to be going great guns.

I'd deffo take Defoe over Benjani - I reckon the latter has just gone on a bit of a goalscoring streak this season, but in essence is the hardworker who scores the odd one or two of last season.
Defoe is a natural goalscorer who, given the chance, should get a regular 20 goals a season.

Can see Benjani being a one season wonder. Defoe is a better player IMO.

Fairynuff Jezza.
I would have thought the dream ticket for Harry was to have 'em both though. Whether he's a "natural" or not, Jam Sarni is a big, big part of that side for sure.
(& I personally think, he would have carried on scoring but we'll see.)
Equally, i think Deffo needs the chance to prove he is the natural (20+er) you assert he is & Ramos & Jol were wrong.
Thanks for the interlude.
Right, now back to i saw Glen Whelan's auntie up Fenton this afty...

Agree it is strange to sell your top scorer when all your other forwards (save for Nugent, who he doesn't seem to "fancy") are at the ANC.
He must have a replacement lined up - another rumour was Kanoute (Mali are out of the ANC now, of course).

Cancel the logic on this one Jezza, this is Harry.
"Complete madness to go please."

They've got Baros on loan as well, although he looked dire against Man Yoo last night.

I bet the bunting is out tonight in sailor town tonight then - bye bye Banjani, buy, buy Baros.
Wow. No thanks.
