Then what will people think? I for one would be devastated.
Getting Shawcross, Cort and Pugh was good business and the Griffin deal was also decent.
As previously pointed out however, on numerous posts, that expense has been covered by monies that have come in via transfers.
So today I feel that it is like we have completed 20 miles of a marathon and have just given up. Sure there is still time for me to be proven wrong but I know it’s a cliché and said it seems every year now but this really is the best chance we will ever had of getting up and even skipping the playoffs.
Come on Stoke
P.S How much you want bet there’s only 13 k Saturday but that’s another post

Making a decent attacking signing or two in January would be a statement of intent, to the other players, to the fans, to the competition for play-offs places, that, this time, we are serious, we are really going for it. It seems not.....................

As in years gone by there are glaring shortcomings in the squad that need addressing. The club say they have learned from past mistakes and will not be repeating them but time is running out.

No excuse this time if the squad isn't strengthened. Just watching SSNews & it seems as though every other fukkers doing something.
Norris to Ipswich for example, the sort of business we should be doing.

I agree, I can't see what business sense it makes not to shell out a further 2 million getting a few in as even if we don't go up we would already have a decent squad to go at it again next year.
Im really down today bout the whole issue
