the cost of a couple of top players must surely offset the cost of not getting promotion.the cost of players (if) we do go up would triple because we would be a premiership club

Who decides what the prices should be anyway - the prices are only over inflated in Coates and Pulis world, for the rest of the championship it's called a free market.
Yet again it seems we are choking - a severe lack of bottle to use an old phrase.

Everyone knows that prices are inflated during the January transfer window. It's the same every year. If you're not willing to pay the price in January then get the bloody deals done in the summer FFS!!!

Coates is supposed to be a business man, he should know the rules about supply and demand. Of course prices are high in January as all clubs know that if someone needs a certain type of player in a short space of time then they have to pay what the selling club wants to get him! Looks like another long wait until after Feb 21st before we get a couple of loanees in!

Lots of our rivals seem to be coping with these 'over inflated prices' wether it be a permanent or loan signing.
The bottom line is that our squad aint big enough or strong enough as it stands to get us to the promised land, BUT IT IS NOT FAR OFF, SO COME ON TONE/PETER PULL YER FUCKIN FINGERS OUT.

They already have , but on average players such as pugh who won't take us up!
They have got plenty of money. No excuse for not getting a parry or whelqn-esque player in this the around...

If he's not prepared to pay, he obviously doesn't want promotion
He'll be sitting watching them on his own next season if he goes down that road.
