bit naughty that report
from what I saw and heard, boro fans were singing "you'll never take the boro" to which stokies sang back "going down, going down" - they then started to take the fence down!

There was a lot of anger in the Boro crowd yesterday so there was always going to be some trouble. The group were frustrated that the fence was a lot sturdier than it looked so turned their attention to the Stewards and the Police, one steward got a bit aggressive and got a bit of a kicking. The police have been getting a lot of stick from the Boro fans today but I actually thought they handled it superbly. They were very approachable as well.. but I suppose other people will have had difference experiences with them.

"A visit to Stoke is always a day to watch yer back, as they don't quite seem to have progressed to the level of Premiership mentality yet." While this statement is undoubtedly true of a section of our support, it's a bit rich coming from the Smoggies. It was 'boro fans that were arrested.

"Stoke haven't griped premiership mentality yet" or whatever it said
Funny that...
Trouble this seasons
Man City, Man united smashing up the away concorse Man City trying brake seregation towards Stokies in the south stand
Yesterday, a group of about 20 bora fans, walked across the empty block to stand by the tunel to give the block 11ers some shit, the stewards pulled the tunnel out, so the bora fans were trying climb on the wall to give the Stokies shit..
After the game from what I read/heard the bora fans tried rip down the fencing.
I know Stoke fans aren't angels...by a long shot. But at home this season there as been very little trouble, well none apart from yesterday and the Bora fans were intent on causing it all afternoon, but again Stokies are labled as 'bad eggs' so we get the blame"!

either it was boro who got battered, or you haven't grasped the mentality of eating a hotdog properly, and got into a bit of a tickle with the ketchup.

I walked past the main 'action' as it was all going on pretty much outside the away enlclosure. Id say about 20 Boro 'lads' advanced up the road initially taking on smaller groups of Stokies. Then a much bigger group of probably 40 or so Stoke 'hard core' appeared on the scene and 5 or 6 of the Boro lads received a right kicking - Claret all over the show !
So, truth be told, it was Boro that started it all although after considerable provocation from the Stokieis on top of the hill who were 'chanting' going down at them. What did make me laugh was that some of the Boro tits (many who were well into their 40's) were proudly stating 'we stood em' while trying to stem the blood pouring out of the gashes across their noses !!
