Well done Mr Pulis. He waited for the right time to bring on Sidibe (about 5 minutes) but when he did, it was perfect. Four Boro defenders were marking him for the throw in, allowing Ryan space to make his perfect run and head home. Perfection

Absolutely, knowles. I was screaming for Pulis to bring Mama on with about 20 minutes to go. He waited and waited and timed it perfectly. Mama took all the flak from Delap's throw and Ryan drifted in unmarked to nod it home. Great header but the whole move was a training ground masterpiece. Pulis gets top marks from me just for that piece of brilliance in an, otherwise, ugly performance. I was chatting to TWM after the game and he was right - we were very nervous. But, when you consider the stakes yesterday, we had a right to be. A loss would have been almost catastrophic for us and M'boro had nothing to lose. And it showed.

Spot on, I said just that. They were foolish to do so, because Shawcross is always far more of a threat than Mama anyway.

Thank god for Tone changing his mind twice on when to bring him on!

If Shawcross hadn't scored it would have been interesting to see if we'd have got a penalty for two Boro players so obviously holding Mama down. But yeh, it was a well timed substitution, The Boro back line must have been watching videos of Mamas header against Villa and were so preoccupied with taking him out of the game that it allowed Shawcross to drift in unmarked .

That has to count as one of the best substitutions made by TP. When we were looking towards this season a lot of people including me thought that super sub might be Mama's best role in the Prem. He more than justified his starting place for the first half of the season but now super sub might well be his best position.

It doesn't tell the whole story but look at the defenders around Mama...it really was an awesome bit of physical football from the big man and all those who think that being physical is just all about bullying you can suck my root. What Mama did takes some real doing. SUFAKKINPERB. When was the last time we had 3 up front in a match?

superb substitution and right on time, i wanted him on with half hour left because beattie was awful, i just hope pulis doesnt make the same mistake as he did with kitson and play beattie too deep to get involved, yesterday he was a spectator too far away from ric

He has been a real inspiration to the lads and I hope he adds to his tally to keep us up.
