Happily, it looks like Middlesbrough are dead in the water. Another defeat, fans mobbing around the tunnel baying for their players' blood. Middlesbrough typify something wrong with football in this country.
Let's look at their team. Tuncay, Downing, Alves and so on - all over-rated show ponies. They spent all game on the floor, rolling around and cheating. Unacceptable. Were I in charge of the game, and I may yet be, there would be a panel reviewing every match and Downing, Tuncay, McMahon and Taylor would all be on the receiving end of 6 match bans. Respect the ref? There's nothing more disrespectful than trying to con him into booking a fellow professional. Well done to the Stoke players for getting up when getting kicked over and setting an example. There is nothing worse in football than a team like Middlesbrough - mediocre team full of uncaring foreign mercenaries who aren't afraid of kicking opposition players but roll around like Ronaldo when another player goes anywhere near them. When Downing was doing his dying lamb, if I were a Stoke player I'd have walked over to him and accidentally stood on his arm. We don't do cheats at Stoke.
As for their support, what a load of crap that was. Crap at home, crap away. Minimal in both number and volume. Had one song in the first half, ironically mocking our support. The atmosphere wasn't great in the first half, but that came after the initial spell that was fairly noisy.
I don't like the players, the manager or the supporters. Hopefully in a few years they'll be playing the Vale.

I thought Tuncay was one of the best players i've seen down the Brit this season, His touch was superb. Boro played some very good football and had us chasing shadows for the majority of the first half, If they had Beattie playing for them we could of lost that game by 3 or 4 goals.
The only thing they didn't have today was someone to finish, and 3 points ;D

Tuncay was excellent.
Week in week out we see banks of empty seats at the Riverside. They don't deserve Prem football.
Harly a loss- far bigger teams in the Coca Cola

Much much bigger teams in the championship Wolves, Birmingham, Forest- all teams I want to see in the prem.. forest are a long way off but the other 2 dingle dumbos are good teams in terms of support and locality for us next season. I love the midland derby's and also derby still getting an average crowd of 26 thousand ... got to say that is bloody good support from the rams. Boro, Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton all have got terrible support for teams in the prem.

I'd like to see Aston Villa, Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Burnley, Derby County, Everton, Notts County, Preston North End, Stoke, West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers all in the Premiership. I've got to say, if we stay up and have some mid-table mediocrity for a few years, I can see crowds of 16,000 coming back and idiots going all Charlton Premiership tippy tappy nancy on us.

I'm not a Middlesbrough or a Stoke fan but what makes you so sure you are staying up? When Downing was doing his dying lamb, if I were a Stoke player I'd have walked over to him and accidentally stood on his arm. We don't do cheats at Stoke. LOL. How incredibly stupid.

had a chat about this on the way back from the game, Boro are indeed a bunch of cheating twats, if you noticed they generally had at least two players constantly following the ref round telling him what to do and crying at every free kick which against them applying pressure to every decision. The gamesmanship was sickening, how a man of 6 foot 4 the size of pogatez can throw himself to ground so easily he has actually got a world class skill for it ! anyway my point is that Southgate was not a dirty player or indeed someone whom went down easily in fact very honest and an intelligent bloke I'd say, so why do his players behave this way?
my conclusion is that he has choosen this path much against how he would personally behave or want to play, the reason being as said he ain't stupid and I think he has realised this element of the game works for Man United, Chelsea et el and all the other diving cheating bastards, so he has decided if you can't beat them then you may aswell join them. Which is just plain sad he has been reduced to this as such a bright up and coming manager. The fact Liam could have rightly so gone down a few times in the box yesterday yet didn't, I think Delap saved a few booking for their players by getting back up and not moaning, quite rightly we can take the moral high ground ! I wouldn't what to watch Stoke players doing any of that nonesense

I am absolutely certain friend. Thank you very much for the concern though. Well,as you`re sure you want to be involved,I think our confidence in staying up is born from the iron will of this group of players and the sheer intensity of our support. We are looking around us asking if there are 3 worse teams than us in this league and at the moment the answer is yes. ;D
