1. The Referee. Yet again, we are being rumpled by referee's who put reputation over the way we actually play. Every touch, clip or tap was a free kick to Boro, whereas they could have actually stabbed somebody and got away with it.
2. Salif Diao. Sorry, he can't pass for water. Give the ball away too easily, and as soon as he went off, we suddenly improved. Coincidence? No.
3. Ricardo Fuller. This will be interesting...Let's see how many people disagree. Ricky, i have given you chance after chance these past few weeks to prove that you are worthy of a first team place, and every game you have been catastophically awful. You're lazy and weak, and if you keep playing like you have done, the sooner you go, the better.
Opinions?

Fuller was brilliant. One of the centre backs should have been sent off for constant fouling imo. I was disappointed with Beattie today.

Beats runs though.
Fuller gets forward, and then a whole week passes before he gets back. I'd rather see him play Mama with Beats up to the 60th minute, then sub him for Ricki.
Tire the defence out, then watch Fuller work his magic.

the only 3 negative points should be the ones Middlesborough lost to us.

Fuller today was a constant menace that got no protection from the oaf in charge.

He was a menace to the Boro defence, but the referee gave him no protection from their persistant fouls

Agree with points 1 and 2, although I didn't like to hear the ironic cheers when Diao went off, imo he's still not fit enough. Can't believe anyone would criticise Fuller today, he worked his bollocks off against those big lumps at the back for Middlesboro, he got a battering today. I hope fuller signs a new deal soon, I would hate to see him leave, despite his obvious flaws, he's still my favorite player.

Astro, points 1 and 2 fair enough but as for the comments about Ric, Christ on a bike mate! How anyone can say he was lazy after running his bollocks off today and getting kicked from pillar to post without absolutely zero protection from the referee is beyond me. People talk about putting a shift in, well today Ric did it that in spades.

Fair play, i'll admit everyone has their opinions! He just...didn't seem to do much special for me today.
He always does well against Brazil though, Fuller hattrick in two weeks time?

I wouldn't think that anyone would say he was anything special today mate as the front two didn't get any service at all, my issue with your post was that you thought he is lazy and he simply isn't.

Everyone has opinions Jamo, i just think that sometimes, Fuller looks a bit lazy, doesn't get back sort of thing.
When he is really up for a game, he's unstoppable.
If you get me...

I agree with 1 and 2 but you must be mad to think ricci wasn't superb today. He was battered from pillar to post by their cheating thugs and kept his head up, made some great runs and flick ons.
My negative point from today is that we were shite for most of the game, and only came to life with the "80th minute roar" style roar from the crowd!

Oh sorry for having an opinion on the match, do you think im not over the moon that we won? Of course I am but just worried if we play the same way as we did for the first half again this season we could leak goals against a better team!

You're a bit harsh on Ric but for me he didn't prove he was worth a starting place today, he'd have been more use coming off the bench fresh and with a point to prove.
