I'll be in Hong Kong tomorrow. Does anyone know if the game will be televised and, if so, where is the best place to watch?
I hoping any Hong Kong based Stokies can point me in the right direction. Someone suggested that some Premier League games are shown at the HK football club at Happy Valley?
I don't think my nerves can handle listening to such an important game over the internet.

or at the lower end of the walk of stars cross over the bridge, there's a bar 'bulldog' bar or some such, upstairs in there or one of the places nearby will show it.
you can probably dine and watch in some of them.

I think it's called "The Bull & Bear" if I remember correctly. You could try the "Bottoms Up" bar, you won't see much football though ;D

Blimey, didn't realise there were so many of us aquainted with HK! Any of you lot offspring of Dads who worked at the air ministry in Cheadle? I more or less grew up in HK. It's over 30 years since I left and I'm amazed to hear the Bull and Bear and Bottoms up are still on the go. Anyroadup. I digress - no, I don't know where they'll be showing it. I'm stuck on a rig in the north sea so unfortunately my seat in the Seddon's gonna be empty

If you cant make any of those, the Hotels usually show the games.I watched the Fulham game live there before Christmas, and I could have wathced it another five times if I had flicked channels over a couple of days. They watch every detail of every premiership game, not cos they love footie, but cos they seem to be addicted to gambling

Delaneys in Tsim Tsa Sui has always been good for footie and rugby when I've been in HK
There's also a Delaney's in Wan Chai on HK Island so it depends upon which part of HK you're in
